1. From your deep dark eyes.
From your deep dark eyes So clearly opening Love steals into sight And the heart within me dearly Flutters and blows In fond delight
How then can you blame me For being captive of your soul For who on the face of the earth Can resist your charm and your smile Am I to reject your calling? Am I to reject that smile?
You do of course know My burning desires The very wick of my heart The light that keeps on burning When everything is dark But by discretion we live And breathe and thrive happy as larks
As I near the end I trust that I make myself utterly obscure Where love is lost And life is no more
2. Fantasy
At night I sit and dream i dream of a world in which troubles and worries Do not exist A world in which I can live Away from everything that is bad Everything that hurts
I want to live in a world a lot like yours Where no situation can get under my skin And no amount of anger can lead me to sin Unlock for me the door to your fantasy world
Oh cry for joy! Oh cry for love! As we dwell in our world life becomes a gentle breeze Bestowed from above
Does it tickle your senses? Does it stimulate your interest? Does it arouse your deepest feelings? Yes you feel happy, for a while Because you know that it will soon be morning And you will awaken to a dark cold cruel world.
