St. Winifred's School is a private school consisting of preparatory, primary and secondary departments. This site is for our Junior department.

Our Junior school is divided into four levels with three classes in each year group.
Junior 1s - 7 - 8 years old
Junior 2s - 8 - 9 years old
Junior 3s - 9 - 10 years old
Junior 4s - 10 - 11 years old

Our School Day
8.15 a.m. - Students go to class for registration.
8.25 a.m. - Students go to the Hall for Assembly **
Classes begin after Assembly at about 8.40a.m.
School ends at 2.20 p.m.
* Every other Tuesday Juniors 1-4 go to the Hall for Junior Assembly. At Junior Assembly students receive certificates for achievements in certain areas of their work. Teachers discuss any matters particularly relating to the Junior school.
*Every Thursday is House prayers. Students attend prayers in their Houses and a collection is made. This money goes to support various charities in Barbados throughout the school year.
SCHOOL ACTIVITIES & CLUBS
There are a variety of activities and clubs available throughout the week.
All take place during second break.
Monday:
Choir, Healthy Hearts Club, Volleyball, Netball
Tuesday:
Chess, Cricket (J1s and J2s)
Wednesday:
Promise Club (Juniors prayer and bible group)
Thursday:
House Prayers, Footsteps bible group
Friday:
Ice cream day
